1. Tổng quát phần thi IELTS Speaking

Part 2 : Trong phần thi thứ hai, giám khảo sẽ cho bạn một tờ giấy đi kèm với đề bài cụ thể để thảo luận về chủ đề được cho. Bạn sẽ có khoảng một phút đề được cho và trình bày câu trả lời của mình trong 2 phút. Bên cạnh đó, giám khảo cũng có thể hỏi bạn một vài câu hỏi để kết thúc bài thi.
Part 3 : Các câu hỏi giám khảo đưa ra trong phần 3 sẽ giúp bạn thảo luận thêm về vấn đề trước đó. Bên cạnh đó thí sinh sẽ được đặt câu hỏi để bàn luận thêm và chiều sâu của đề bài.

Câu hỏi: Do you like holidays? Why?
Yes, of course. You know, since I'm always swamped with work and deadlines, a holiday once in a while is an optimal choice for me to get away from the mundane day-to-day routine.
I would love to take a small trip to some coastal cities where I can enjoy the scenic landscapes and be with nature. And who knows, I can even learn something new after those trips.

Câu hỏi: Which public holiday do you like best?
I would go with Tet holiday, or Lunar New Year for it is considered a distinct festival of Vietnam. On this occasion, people not only have the chance to blow off some steam and recharge their batteries after a whole year of hard work but also get to enjoy family gatherings and tighten their bonds with other family members.

To be quite honest, I am very interested in traveling during holiday periods. These holiday periods are when I put my feet up and escape from the hectic pace of life. Besides, traveling is a good chance for me to take up extremely interesting sports like windsurfing and waterskiing. Moreover, I can sample the local foods when I travel rather than stay at home and eat normal ones.
Vocabulary ghi điểm:
To put one’s feet up (idiom): thư giãn, giải trí.
To escape from the hectic pace of life (phrase): thoát khỏi nhịp sống xô bồ.
To take up + a sport (verb): bắt đầu chơi một trò chơi thể thao.

3. Bài mẫu chủ đề Travel/ Holiday - Part 2
Câu hỏi: Describe a place you visited on vacation.
Khi được yêu cầu mô tả một địa điểm bạn đã ghé thăm trong kỳ nghỉ. Bạn nên nói:
Nó ở đâu.
Khi nào bạn đến đó.
Bạn đã làm gì ở đó.
Và giải thích tại sao bạn đến đó.
As an avid traveler, I would love to share with you about the time I took a 3-day trip to Hoi An ancient town. It is a town situated in Quang Nam, a central part of Vietnam. If my memory serves me right, I went to Hoi An 3 years ago during summer vacation with my group of best friends.
When I first set foot in this place, I was instantly captivated by the beauty of this place. It is such a charming holiday destination with breathtaking views and scenic landscapes. We went off-season so it wasn’t as lively and touristy as usual, but hordes of tourists flock to this place every year to enjoy its beauty.
The city’s architecture is a harmonious blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese design, so there are a lot of pagodas, temples, and ancient houses that bear their very unique marks, which really sets this city apart from any other places in Vietnam.

4. Bài mẫu chủ đề Travel/ Holiday - Part 3
Câu hỏi: Do old people and young people choose different places to go on vacation? Why?
In my opinion, age doesn’t diminish wanderlust, but it sure affects the way we travel, specifically the way we choose our holiday destinations.
I think younger people tend to enjoy adventure and having fun, so they would choose to go to either some tourist traps where there are a lot of holiday activities, or they could go backpacking somewhere off the beaten track to satisfy their thirst for adventure.
As for older people, they definitely prefer relaxation, so they would just opt for somewhere serene and peaceful to ease their mind, maybe near a lake or go to churches and pagodas, or something like that.

Câu hỏi: What are the negative impacts of tourism?
I believe the most detrimental impact of tourism is on the environment. What I mean is that excessive building, like roads, hotels or other holiday accommodation, etc. can destroy the natural habitats and spoil the landscape of the country.
Tourism can also lead to pollution and waste. From a cultural perspective, local traditions may be lost, and traditional jobs and skills such as fishing, and farming may die out soon.
