I’d like to talk about a famous person who I believe is an exceptional role model for young people, and that is Emma Watson. She is, of course, a renowned British actress, widely recognized for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series.

I first got to know her, like millions of others, through the Harry Potter movies when I was a child. I was immediately captivated by her portrayal of Hermione, who was intelligent, brave, and fiercely loyal. As I grew older, I started following her career and her public life more closely, especially through social media and news articles.

Beyond her acting career, Emma Watson has done a tremendous amount of work as a humanitarian and activist. She graduated from Brown University, demonstrating her commitment to education despite her demanding acting schedule. More significantly, she was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in 2014 and launched the HeForShe campaign, which advocates for gender equality. She has delivered powerful speeches at the UN, urging men and boys to become advocates for gender equality, and has consistently used her platform to raise awareness about women’s rights and other social issues.

I think she can be a role model for young people for several compelling reasons. Firstly, she exemplifies the importance of education and intellectual curiosity. Despite her early success and fame, she prioritized her studies, showing that learning is a lifelong journey. Secondly, her dedication to social justice and gender equality is truly inspiring. She uses her influence not for personal gain, but to advocate for important causes, encouraging young people to be socially conscious and to stand up for what they believe in. Her humility, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world make her an ideal figure for young people to look up to. She proves that fame can be used as a powerful tool for good, and that true success lies not just in personal achievements, but in contributing to a better society.
