Talking about yourself is a familiar topic in IELTS Speaking Part 1, 2. 1. Common Questions for "Talk About Yourself" – IELTS Speaking Part 1

This topic frequently appears in Part 1 of the IELTS Speaking test. Questions usually revolve around your personal background, interests, job, and daily life. Here are some typical questions:

Question: What does your name mean?

My name is Lacy, which means "bright and stylish." I think my parents chose it because they hoped I would grow up confident and determined. Names, in my opinion, can shape one’s identity—and I feel mine suits me quite well.

3. IELTS Speaking Part 2 – Talk About Yourself Cue Cards
