Cue card: Describe a famous person that you would like to meet.

Sample answer:

One famous person I would really like to meet is Taylor Swift, who is widely regarded as one of the most influential singer–songwriters of this generation. She is well known for her storytelling lyrics and her remarkable ability to reinvent herself, something I’ve always admired.

I first discovered her music back in high school when her songs were constantly playing on the radio. Over time, as I watched her interviews and documentaries, I realised that behind her global stardom is a thoughtful, hardworking, and surprisingly grounded individual.

She stands out not only because of her chart-topping albums and numerous Grammy Awards but also due to the emotional depth she brings to her music. Her lyrics, which often reflect her personal experiences, create an authentic connection with listeners. Beyond the music industry, she is respected for speaking up about gender equality, artists’ rights, and mental-health awareness — all of which contribute to her enormous cultural impact.

I would love to meet her because she embodies resilience and creative reinvention. Despite facing criticism and pressure throughout her career, she always finds ways to grow and come back stronger. If I had the chance, I’d love to meet her backstage after a concert, where things are quieter, and ask about her songwriting process and how she maintains her authenticity in such a competitive industry.

I know I would feel incredibly honoured and excited. Meeting someone who has shaped my understanding of creativity would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Even a short conversation with her would motivate me to pursue my ambitions with more determination and artistic courage.
