What is IELTS One Skill Retake?
IELTS One Skill Retake is an innovative feature that allows candidates to retake any single component of the test - whether it's Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking - without the need to redo all four sections. With IELTS One Skill Retake, you have the flexibility to focus on the areas where you aspire for improvement, ensuring a tailored and efficient approach to achieving your desired scores.
On April 3, 2024, according to Official dispatch No. 588/QLCL - QLVBCC, the Ministry of Education and Training gave approval for IDP to organize the IELTS One Skill Retake exam in Vietnam - this feature allows candidates to retake one of the four skills of the IELTS test.
IDP Vietnam has officially opened registration for the IELTS One Skill Retake test on April 5, 2024 with the first IELTS OSR test date on April 13, 2024 at all IDP IELTS testing centers.
The advantages of the IELTS One Skill Retake feature:
Accessibility and Availability: If you haven't achieved your desired score in the first test, IELTS One Skill Retake gives you the power to refine your English language proficiency and secure the scores you need for success.
The test structure remains unchanged: IELTS One Skill Retake follows the same format and timing as the regular IELTS test. This means you will already be familiar with the test. You don’t need to worry about preparing for a new exam and learning different task types.
Receive a new Test Report Form: After completing the test, candidates will receive a new IELTS Test Score Sheet (TRF) including the scores from your original test and an overall CEFR score. Once you have received your results, if you would prefer to use your original score, you can.

What is the registration cost for the IELTS One Skill Retake?
IELTS One Skill Retake fee is 2,940,000 VND and UKVI OSR fee is 3.520.000 VND.
