Write short but clear
Our ancestors said, “Brevity is the soul of wit.” In summary, do not write paragraphs for something that a few sentences will be enough. You should pay attention to this situation, especially when writing an article. Please stick to the number of words required, make sure your writing is straight and legible, and the language you use is direct and easy to understand.
No place for copycats
It is easy to memorize outstanding points from well-written articles with a variety of IELTS preparation books containing rich information and sample articles. However, when a familiar subject appears in the test, resist the urge to write an article similar to what you have read somewhere before. Originality always wins, so write your article in your own sentences.
Keywords
All sources recommend using “binding words” or “keywords” in your articles. The important thing is not to overdo it and not to fill your article with these words. You do not have to impress the person who will evaluate your test by knowing fancy words. You just need to stick to the topic of the article and convey your ideas in a consistent manner.
Stress and pronunciation
IELTS is designed for non-native English speakers. Don’t worry about your accent; instead, focus on your pronunciation. Speak clearly, reasonably loudly, and directly. Do not speak in whispers or in an extremely angry tone. Defrauding will not help you. Speak confidently to keep your speech in line with the topic.
