If you are not satisfied with your results, you can apply for a review of your results (Enquiry on Results). You can do this by contacting the test centre where you took your IELTS test. If you apply for an Enquiry on Results, your test will be remarked by a senior IELTS examiner who will not know your original band scores for each part of the test. Once it has been remarked, the test centre where you took your test will be notified. If there are any changes to your original band scores, they will issue a new Test Report Form (TRF). You can request a remark within 6 weeks of the IELTS test date on your Test Report Form. You can request a remark for the whole IELTS test or for one or more parts (Reading, Writing, Listening or Speaking). Your reviewed results will be available within 1 to 21 business days of applying for a remark. There is a cost for requesting a remark. If your band scores change, the fee you paid will be refunded. You can contact the test centre where you sat your IELTS test for more information on this.

Important points • Cancellation of the request is not possible after the application is made. • There is no appeal after this re-mark, the decision is final. • During the period of remarking your test results cannot be used to apply for a university or to be sent to an immigration office. • Should the scores change after the Enquiry on Results you have to send the original TRF to the test centre you received it from. Then, your test centre will issue a new Test Report Form. • For those whose scores remain the same can keep the original Test Report Form and there will be no refund. Please provide your details on the Enquiry on Results Form.

Send the completed Enquiry on Results Form and receipt of payment to ielts.istanbul@idp.com or ielts.ankara@idp.com if your mark changes, post the original Test Report Form to IDP Education – IELTS Test Centre.

Refunds Should the scores change after the Enquiry on Results, you will receive a full refund and a new Test Result FormRefunds are paid by bank transfer and usually take three to four weeks from the date of the request to be processed and emailed.
