Things you need to know to book your IELTS test

• The type of IELTS exam you need to migrate, study or work abroad may vary depending on the institution or country you are applying to. Before booking your test, check which type of IELTS test you need to take by contacting the institution or organisation you are applying to.

• You can only book your IELTS test with a valid ID or Passport.

Note: On test day, make sure to bring the same identification document you used when registering on the system. Any identification document different from the one you registered with will not be accepted.

• You can pay the exam fee by credit card or transfer via our online registration system, or you can pay in cash by coming to our offices.

• Registration will close: 

  • 24 hours before IELTS on paper

  • 3 days before IELTS on computer

• Applicants under the age of 18 require parental consent when booking.

Special Requirements and IELTS

If you are vision impaired, have a speech impediment or any other medical condition, you may be eligible to take the IELTS test under special arrangements. IDP IELTS offers a comprehensive service for a fair and objective assessment of language skills for candidates with special needs.

• If you require special arrangements to be made, you must give the test centre at least six weeks’ notice before your test date.

After booking your IELTS test

You will receive a payment confirmation e-mail after completing your registration and your payment. In the e-mail, you will find:

• Approval of your registration and payment

• FREE IDP IELTS preparation materials to better prepare for your test

Three days before your test date:

• You will receive an e-mail that includes every detail about your IELTS test, from the location of the test venue to the time of the exam.

FREE Preparation Materials

• Macquarie Preparation Course: It includes tutorial videos, practice questions, quizzes, exams, writing tasks and sample answers, as well as grammar and vocabulary lessons.

• IELTS Privilege Program: It is a FREE 20-hour preparatory course worth 5.495 TL, which you can attend from the comfort of your home. The program is delivered online by a certified IELTS expert and covers all 4 test components: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
