On the day of your IELTS test, it is important to be prepared and aware of the procedures to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. Test takers are typically scheduled for either a morning or an afternoon session.
You must arrive at the test center no later than 8:30 AM for registration. Failure to arrive on time may result in you being marked as absent.
Present your valid ID or Passport.
If you are under 20 years old, you must also present your signed consent form.
An invigilator will provide you with important test instructions.
This is a good opportunity to use the restroom before the test begins.
You will be required to place all personal items, including bags and electronic devices, in the lockers provided.
Your photograph will be taken for identification purposes.
You will need to register your fingerprint (biometric registration).
An invigilator will guide you to the room where you will take the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections of the test.
The test will be conducted in the following order:
Listening: 30 minutes
Reading: 60 minutes
Writing: 60 minutes
Collect your belongings from the locker.
You will have a lunch break before your Speaking test. Please return at the designated time for your Speaking test.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled Speaking test time.
An invigilator will call your name and guide you to the test room.

Please complete a review/survey before you leave the test center.
If you have an afternoon session, you will likely have your Speaking test before the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections. You must arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled Speaking test time. For example, if your Speaking test is at 11:00 AM, you must arrive by 10:30 AM to register.
