What You MUST Bring (In Detail)

1. Your Identification (The MOST Important Item)

This is non-negotiable. You must bring the exact same original document you used to register for your test.

  • Bring your original Passport OR your original Thai National ID Card.

  • The document must be valid and not expired.

Important: Photocopies, digital copies on your phone, or expired documents will not be accepted, and you will not be allowed to take the test.

2. A Jacket or Sweater

All our test rooms are air-conditioned to keep the environment optimal. The test lasts for several hours, so we highly recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to ensure you remain comfortable throughout.

3. Consent Form (For Test Takers Under 20 Years Old)

If you are under 20, you must bring the parental consent form signed by your parent or guardian. Download consent form here.

What NOT to Bring into the Test Room

1. All Stationery

You do not need to worry about bringing pens, pencils, or erasers. For both computer-based and paper-based tests, pen and paper for note-taking will be given to you at your desk. Personal stationery is not allowed to be brought into the test room.

2. Valuables and Large Personal Items

For your own peace of mind, please leave valuable items at home. This includes jewelry, large sums of money, laptops, and any non-essential items. While we provide lockers for your bags, we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Focus on your test without worrying about your belongings.

3. Food and Drink

To maintain a clean and quiet testing environment, food and drinks are not allowed inside the test room. You may bring water in a transparent bottle with no labels. All other drinks (like coffee, tea, or juice) and all types of food (including snacks and candy) are forbidden.

4. All Electronic Devices

This is a strict rule. No electronic devices of any kind are permitted in the test room, including mobile phones, all watches (digital, analog, and smartwatches), fitness trackers, cameras, and recording devices. You must power off all devices (not just put them on silent) before storing them in your locker. Any device found in the test room will result in immediate disqualification.

Other Important Information for Your Test Day

  • Dress Code: There is no formal dress code for the IELTS test. Our main advice is to dress comfortably and in layers. You can wear sandals, sneakers, or any other comfortable shoes. The goal is to ensure you won't be too hot or too cold during the test.

  • Food and Drink: To help you stay hydrated, we will provide you with a bottle of water. You may also bring your own water in a transparent bottle with no labels. All other food and drinks are not permitted inside the test room.

  • Waiting Area for Friends and Family: Our test centers have limited waiting areas. While we do our best to accommodate everyone, there may be times when seating is not available for friends or family who accompany you. Many of our test centers are conveniently located near shops, cafes, and restaurants where they can wait comfortably.
