Why did you become interested in taking IELTS as early as Mathayom 4, and what inspires you to learn English?

I became interested in IELTS because many YouTubers were talking about it, so I decided to research it seriously. I set a goal to use my IELTS score to apply for university here in Thailand. My inspiration for learning English might sound simple. I just want to speak confidently without fear when communicating with foreigners, and I want to understand my favorite series without turning on subtitles.

How are you preparing for the test, and how do you handle the parts you find most challenging?

On weekdays, after finishing my homework, I spend my evenings studying IELTS. I am currently enrolled in an online course and I keep practicing with test questions step by step. I use weekends to review what I learned so it sticks better. For me, consistency is the most important thing. I try to learn something every day, whether it is watching clips, listening to accents, or noting new vocabulary. I believe that if I keep doing this, I will definitely improve.

The parts I find most challenging are Speaking and Writing because they require both ideas and accurate communication. My practice is to do them often. I write essays regularly and try speaking on topics I find online. I also study sample answers from videos and websites, then adapt what I learn to my own style.

What made you decide to apply to be an IDP IELTS Ambassador even though you had never taken the test before?

When I saw the program details, I thought it was very interesting because I could help inspire friends who are preparing for the test too. I wanted to apply so I could learn and also share my own preparation experience for others to see.

When I found out I had been selected, I was so happy. I felt it was a great opportunity to develop skills I am not yet strong in, including speaking, editing, and communication. From the start, I aimed to gain new experiences from this program, especially becoming more confident in front of others and learning to work well with a team.

After becoming an Ambassador, how has the experience been and what have you learned from the program?

It has been a lot of fun, even with some challenges, especially when brainstorming engaging content. The process helped me practice planning, scriptwriting, and speaking on camera. Every time I finished a video, I felt proud because I could see my progress from the first clip to the last.

After the program ended, I felt much more confident and developed many skills, including communication, storytelling, and time management, especially content ideation. I used to be shy in front of the camera, but now I am much more comfortable speaking and sharing my own story. Lastly, I want to thank the IDP team so much for always guiding me. I learned a lot and feel very lucky to be part of this family.
