Work as IELTS Examiners 

Trained and certificated examiners assess IELTS Writing and Speaking tests. These examiners are qualified and experienced English language specialists. What are the requirements to become an IELTS examiner? 

What are the requirements to work as IELTS examiner? 

Each IELTS test centre is responsible for recruiting and training examiners.  

All applicants must have: 

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent 

• A TEFL/TESOL qualification 

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience. 

All applications are screened by a qualified examiner trainer. After approval, the applicant undertakes face-to-face training conducted by an accredited IELTS examiner trainer and a certification assessment.
