If you are not satisfied with your results, you can apply for a review of your results (Enquiry on Results). You can do this by submitting your request online using the link below:
Apply for Enquiry on Results (EOR)
If you apply for an Enquiry on Results, your test will be remarked by a IELTS examiner from Cambridge Assessment English, who will not know your original band scores for each part of the test. Once it has been remarked, the test centre where you took your test will be notified. If there are any changes to your original band scores, they will issue a new Test Report Form (TRF).
You can request a remark within 6 weeks of the IELTS test date on your Test Report Form. You can request a remark for the whole IELTS test or for one or more parts (Reading, Writing, Listening or Speaking). Your reviewed results will be available within 2 to 21 days of applying for a remark.
There is a cost for requesting a remark of NTD $4,100, and your EOR will not be processed until payment and following documents are received. If your band scores change, the fee you paid will be refunded. You can contact us at 0800-558-768 for more information on this.
Please post your original Test Report Form, IELTS Enquiry on Result From, a copy of your passport to the address below:
Please download the Enquiry on Result (EoR) Request Form at the bottom of the page . Print it out and fill in all columns.
Ask IELTS
When you request a remark, your IELTS test will be remarked by an experienced senior IELTS examiner who is not aware of the original marks awarded for each part - Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking. Your test centre is then notified of the remarked result and if the mark has changed, you will receive a new Test Report Form (TRF).
The request for a remark must be made within 6 weeks of the date shown on your Test Report Form (TRF). You can request a remark on the whole test or any part of it (Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking).
You must pay an enquiry fee, which is fully refunded if your band score changes. Contact your local test centre for more information about fees.
Your result will normally be available in 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact your test centre.
If you feel confident that you have done better than your score shows, applying for an EOR is one option for you. This is marked by a senior examiner who marks it independently from your first examiner. After this second assessment, your score either stays the same or is higher, depending on the senior examiner’s rating.
EOR requests and all IELTS test day matters are handled by your test centre. IDP responds to the EOR requests by using a team of senior examiners.
