You can pay your IELTS exam fees by using the following methods:

• Pay online using a credit card 

• Pay in cash at any of IDP IELTS branches after you register online. By choosing this option, you will have a reserved seat for only two days until you fulfil your payment  

• Pay through a bank transfer 

• Pay for your IDP IELTS test through Fawry Payment Services available in retail outlets & via Fawry banking service through Banks (ATM & Wallets)

The IELTS test fee in Egypt differs depending on the type of test you’re going to take.

You can take IELTS Academic Online (not accepted for migration) from the comfort of your own home or from anywhere you’d like. 

Each candidate is issued only one IELTS TRF (Test Report Form) free of charge, which stands valid for two years, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA). In this case, you can receive two free of charge. To avail these two copies, you’ll have to provide proof of application to CIC and UKBA.

Up to five copies of your TRF will be sent electronically to the institution(s) that you list on your IELTS application form free of charge.

Also, regular postage for additional hard copies is not free of charge, and there may be extra charges for courier services and/or overseas postage that are passed onto you. Contact your IELTS test centre for more information.

When will I receive my test results?

•  IELTS on paper : Your test results and your Test Report Form (TRF) will be released 13 days after completing the test. 

• IELTS on computer : Your test results will be available 3 to 5 days after completing the test. 

• IELTS on computer for UKVI: Your test results will be available 3 to 5 days after completing the test. 

• IELTS on paper for UKVI: If you have taken the IELTS Academic for UKVI or the IELTS General Training for UKVI tests, your test results will be released 13 days after completing the test. 

• Life Skills for UKVI: Your results will be available seven days after completing the Life Skills A1 or B1 tests. 

• IELTS Online: You will receive your results electronically 3-6 days after taking IELTS Online.

You must pay an enquiry fee, which is fully refunded if your band score changes. Contact your local test center for more information about fees.
