How to book your IELTS Test?

You can either book your IELTS test online or visit the nearest IDP branch for offline booking.

Here's how:

1. Log in to the IELTS by IDP website.

2. Click on the 'Book Now' option

3. Choose your preferred test type - computer-delivered IELTS (IELTS, IELTS for UKVI, or Life Skills).

4. Select your test type - Academic or General Training for IELTS, IELTS for UKVI, A1 and B1 for Life Skills (be very careful while choosing your desired module).

5. Pick your preferred test location or city.

6. Select your desire date and time slot from the available options.

7. Provide the necessary details and complete your online application.

8. Remember, you'll also need to upload a clear, scanned color copy of your passport to finalise the process.

9. Proceed to make the test fee payment.

Once you've successfully booked your test date, you'll receive an acknowledgement via your registered email or phone number.

To schedule the Speaking test, you can conveniently book a slot online on your preferred date and time.

Fee payment for IELTS Test Online Booking

You can pay your test fee by credit or debit card via Paypal for online registration. When you walk into any of our IDP Malaysia offices, you can pay by cash, cheque, or credit card. You will also have to upload a clear, scanned colour copy of your valid identify document or passport (mandatory for foreign nationals and Permanent Residents) to complete the process.

IELTS Test Booking confirmation

A final confirmation email with the test date, time, and venue will be sent five to seven days before your IELTS test. If bookings are made five days or fewer before the test date, the final confirmation email will be sent as soon as possible. Ensure that your email account settings allow IDP emails and keep checking your spam or junk folder in case you don't seem to receive any.
