How to book IELTS

There are two ways that you can book the IELTS test: booking online by yourself or contact IDP IELTS Thailand to process your booking.

What you need to make booking

1. Digital copy of your passport or Thai national ID card.

   You need to upload this document and must present the original of the uploaded document on the test day ie. if you upload passport you will have to show your original passport on the test day (ID card is NOT accepted) and vice versa for Thai National ID card.

2. IELTS Exam Fees

- IELTS Regular (Paper / Computer): 7,350 THB

- IELTS UKVI (Paper / Computer): 7,990 THB

- IELTS Life Skills: 6,300 THB

You can choose to make payment online via credit/debit card or make payment offline via promptpay or pay by yourself at IDP IELTS office.

If you need special arrangements to support you during the test, please contact IDP IELTS test centre directly to check an availability of your requirements before making an exam booking.

How to make booking online

Recommended Web Browser: Chrome

1. Go to https://ielts.idp.com/book

2. Choose the banner depended on your test type

   IELTS Regular (Academic & General Training) choose “Registration for IELTS test”

   IELTS UKVI (Academic & General Training & Life Skills) choose “IELTS test for UKVI”

3. Choose your country, city, test type

4. Choose your preferred venue and test date

5. Complete your application details and upload your scanned documents

6. Confirm your test date and details

7. Make payment within 24 hours (Payment Options)

8. After payment is completed, you will receive a payment confirmation email.

9. 2-3 days before your test date, you will receive a reminder email confirming your test date, test time and test venue.
