Test Arrangement in Macau
The Center for International Cooperation in Education (CICE), who will assist the arrangement on exam day, is the only IELTS registration agent agent accredited by IDP Education (Hong Kong). You might contact CICE or visit https://cice.org/ielts/ for more details.
IDP Education (Hong Kong) is responsible for all IDP IELTS affairs in Macau. Test report forms are issued by Hong Kong office and the results are equally recognized.

What is the test fee for taking IELTS in Macau?
The fee for taking IELTS in Macau (IELTS Academic/ General Training) is HKD2,600.
Where can I apply for Hong Kong IELTS test in Macau?
You can apply through the online booking portal of IDP Education (Hong Kong) or apply at the Center for International Cooperation in Education (CICE) in person.
Is the result release date different in Macau and in Hong Kong?
In Hong Kong, general IELTS and IELTS UKVI (paper-based) results are released on the 13th day after the test. On the other hand, test report forms are sent by Hong Kong office to our Macau partner on the 13th day after the test. Our partner will then issue the report forms to test takers; and you could make an appointment to collect the test report in-person.
Which IELTS test can I apply for in Macau?
What is the test fee? IDP Education only provides paper-based IELTS Academic and General Training Tests in Macau at this stage. The test fee is HKD2,600.
When applying for IELTS, what should I pay attention to?
Test takers taking the test in Macau must register with either a valid passport or the Macau Resident Identity Card (BIR). Other identity documents such as the People's Republic of China Resident Identity Card and the Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau (EEP) are not acceptable ID types at registration.
What to expect on test day?
Test takers must bring the passport which has the same information as filled in on your IELTS application form. Please use the same identification document for each part of the test. The staff will verify your identity again before each test.
