Yes, it is a university of the highest academic standard, but I want to say that medical schools anywhere in the world are responsible for both academic and practical training until the end of the internship period. However, what actually happens is that graduates of the new Giza Faculty of Medicine receive very little clinical training during their two-year internship. Most of their work consists of transferring patients from one department to another, transporting blood samples to the lab, or delivering patients to the radiology department and vice versa. And, most astonishingly, parents pay the university exorbitant fees for their children to complete the internship .
