Cancellation and Transfer

IELTS Regular (Academic / General Training)

Request for cancellation or postponement of your IELTS test must be made strictly 5 weeks before the test date. 2,000 THB administrative fee for Cancellation will be deducted from booking fee or 800 THB for Transfer test date. Candidates can submit a request less than 5 weeks before the test date if your case is related to a case of exceptional circumstances according to IELTS Policy:

• A traumatic experience

• Domestic crisis

• Unavoidable legal or military obligation

• Serious medical conditions which prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day.

• Bereavement, or other forms of significant hardship. 

• Civil unrest, extreme weather

Cancellation

Candidates can cancel IELTS test at any time. Refund terms depend upon when you cancel and whether exceptional circumstances apply.

• More than 14 days before the test - receive a 75% refund of the total test fee

• Within 14 days but more than 2 days before the test - receive a 50% refund of the total test fee

• Within 2 days of the test - receive a 25% refund of the total test fee

• On the test day or after the test – no refund will be provided

Test taker exceptions

If you cannot attend the test, you can submit the case within 5 days after the test date. And your case must be related to a case of exceptional circumstances according to IELTS Policy:

• A traumatic experience

• Domestic crisis

• Unavoidable legal or military obligation

• Serious medical conditions which prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day.

• Bereavement, or other forms of significant hardship. 

• Civil unrest, extreme weather

If your test centre approves your case, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee (of no more than 25% of the test fee).

Transfers

The postponement fee is 800 THB. The new test date must be any available test date within 3 months from the original test date. Candidates can submit a request of transfer test date at any time more than 14 days before the test. Any transfer requests within 14 days of the test will be treated as a cancellation.
