EPiQ Assessment Greece

Two days ago I sat my IELTS exam at the EPIQ Assessment test centre in Thessaloniki, and the impression it left on me was very positive. The test experience was very stress-free and the environment played a major role in a swift and comfortable examination. The invigilators present, were polite, strict where necessary but not unfriendly, and guided us clearly step-by-step through the test-taking procedure. What also surprised me was the setup for the listening section. Mini MP3-like devices, with separate headphones where supplied to everyone. The audio quality of the headphones wasn't anything special per se, but it was a huge improvement to other listening tests, which utilize speakers in order to cover the sound needs for large rooms, where in most cases the sound quality is horrid. The only downside was that, once you reach the test center, it is a bit hard to locate the entrance, the building and the correct floor of "EPiQ Assessment". However, it didn't pose a major issue and can easily be fixed - mayhaps through nearby signage, or by more detailed instructions via email. Overall, my experience was very positive (although it would be in my best interests not to visit it again - fingers crossed I passed the test with an excellent score 🤞), and I would recommend this centre for the IELTS examination. P.S. For anyone considering taking a test at this centre, parking nearby is very easy to find, and if I'm not mistaken, there is also free private parking on the premises.

Clear instructions by examiners. Good system & network with clear sound for listening. Good follow-up and communication after change of speaking date.

Overall, a superb service by Epiq Assessments. Quick response even on Sunday evenings with return emails, thorough explanation of processes and highly polite service. Very well done !
