IELTS for UKVI Academic and IELTS for UKVI General Training tests are designed to meet specific administrative requirements set by the UK Home Office. While the test itself (its content, format, level of difficulty, scoring, and examiners) is the same as the standard IELTS test, there are a few key differences in your test day experience. The main difference is in how your test is processed. You'll take the test in a secure UKVI-approved session, and your Test Report Form will clearly show that you completed an IELTS test for UK visa purposes.
