Important update: IELTS tests postponed

The safety of test takers and staff is the highest priority.

Due to the current situation and advice from local authorities, some IELTS tests have been postponed in affected locations. This decision has been taken to protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved.

If an IELTS test has been postponed:

• Test takers will be offered the option to reschedule their test to the soonest possible date.

• Receive a full refund of the test fee.

IELTS understands that this may cause inconvenience or concern, and apologises for the disruption.

If this change affects study plans, visa applications, or important deadlines, IELTS teams can also support test takers in communicating with recognising organisations (ROs) to explain delays in testing.

Test takers with questions or who need support are encouraged to contact their local IELTS test centre or customer support team.
