Date Transfer Fees
The following transfer rules apply for IELTS:
15 or more days before the Listening, Reading, Writing Test Date
Free transfer is allowed.
Within 5–14 days before the Listening, Reading, Writing Test Date
Transfer is allowed; however, an administrative fee of up to 25% of the test fee paid will be charged.
Within 4 days of the Listening, Reading, Writing Test Date
No transfer is allowed. Any transfer request during this period is treated as a cancellation.

Refund Amounts
You may cancel your IELTS test booking at any time before taking the test by notifying the test centre. The refund policy and any applicable charges depend on when the cancellation is made and whether exceptional circumstances apply.
The following cancellation rules apply for IELTS:
15 or more days before the Listening, Reading, Writing Test Date
Cancellation is allowed. A refund of 75% of the test fee paid can be claimed.
Within 14 days of the Listening, Reading, Writing Test Date
Cancellation is allowed; however, the test fee is non-refundable

Booking confirmation
Five to seven days before your IELTS test, you will receive a final confirmation email with the test date, time, and venue. If bookings are made fewer than 5 days before the test date, the final confirmation email will be sent as soon as possible. Make sure that IDP emails are permitted in your email account settings and check your spam/junk folder frequently if you don't seem to be receiving any.
