What are the requirements for IELTS registration?
You will need to provide a copy of your valid identity document to register for your IELTS test. You will also need to present the same identity document on the day of your test.
How to register for the IELTS test?
IELTS registration is quick and easy and can be done in a few simple steps. There are also no IELTS registration fees; you can register totally free of charge.
Step 1 – Find your nearest test centre

Step 2 – How can I register for IELTS?
IELTS test registration
You can easily register on the website and pay online. First, select the country and the city, then choose the test type module – IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training and IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer. Finally, choose your preferred date, and that’s it.
IELTS for UKVI registration can also be done the same way.
Step 3 - Your IELTS test is booked
Once you book your IELTS test - IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer - and your application is processed, your test centre will send you a confirmation email of the date and time of your exam. Your test centre will also confirm whether your Speaking test will be scheduled on a different day or not.

How to pay IELTS fees online after registration?
While you are registering for the IELTS test, you will be directed to the payment page where you will be provided with a payment link in case you choose to pay online. You just have to follow the link and make your online payment. Also, there is an offline payment method through the ORS; in which you can choose to pay offline at the test centre after booking your IELTS test. However, please note that if you do not pay within two days, your seat will be cancelled.
