The official IELTS by IDP app is here! Download it today.
You won’t have to wait long for your IELTS test results. You can collect your Test Report Form (TRF) at IDP IELTS offices when your results are released. You need to bring the form of identity you used when you registered for the test to pick up your TRF. Contact your IELTS test centre for more information.
It is a very valuable document, and it is recommended that you take care in keeping your TRF secure.
How long does it take for IELTS results to come out?
IELTS on paper : Your test results and your Test Report Form (TRF) will be available 13 days after you complete the test.
IELTS on computer: You can view your test results 3 to 5 days after you complete the test.
IELTS on computer for UKVI: You can view your test results 3 to 5 days after you complete the test.
IELTS Life Skills for UKVI: If you had taken the Life Skills A1 or B1 tests, then you can view your results 7 days after you complete the test.
How to check my IELTS Results online?
You can access your IELTS results via your IDP account. You will be able to view your IELTS results online for 28 days. However, this should not be used as an official confirmation of your performance.
Can I download my IELTS TRF?
No, you cannot download your IELTS TRF, you can only preview it online. In order to access your scores online, you will need to enter your Full Name, Date of Birth, and your Registered ID (Passport or National Identity Number).
Can I authorise someone to collect my Report Form on my behalf?
Yes, you can. The Authorisation Request will be considered once:
A letter of authorisation and a photocopy of the Candidate ID are presented at the time of the TRF collection.
The authorised person collecting the TRF presents their original ID for verification.
How many TRFs am I entitled to?
You will only receive one copy of your Test Report Form unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in this case, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided.
Up to five copies of your TRF will be posted electronically to the relevant institution(s) you have listed on your IELTS application form free of charge. For unlimited hard copies, regular postage is not free of charge. There may be additional charges for courier services and/or overseas postage that are passed onto you.
If you have lost your TRF, please contact the test centre which issued your results.
How can I order more Test Report Forms if my test centre has closed since I took the test?
If the test centre where your test was taken has closed, we can still send a copy of your Test Report Form to organisations for two years after your test.
To request an additional Test Report Form, you will need to complete an Additional TRF application form.
It is very important that you include your family and other given names exactly as they appear on your identification document.
Submit by sending as an attachment via an e-mail to your test centre.
Include a scanned copy of the passport or identification document that you used when you took the test.
Test Report Forms can only be sent to institutions and organisations. Additional copies will not be sent to students, their families, or friends.
When you request a remark, your IELTS test will be remarked by an experienced senior IELTS examiner who is not aware of the original marks awarded for each part - Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking. Your test centre is then notified of the remarked result and if the mark has changed, you will receive a new Test Report Form (TRF).
