If you’re wondering how to book your IELTS test? How to create an IELTS account? How to log in to your account? or any other related question; Here's a step-by-step guide that will help you throughout the whole process of creating an IELTS account as well as registering for an IELTS test . 

1. Accessing the IELTS test booking website

Book your IELTS test now by clicking on this link .  

2. Click on “Book Now” when registering for the IELTS test.

3. Selecting your location and preferred IELTS test format

You will be redirected to the registration page, where you will be able to choose your country/territory, your location/city, and your preferred test type. Also, if you have any disability requirements, there’s a drop-down menu that you can choose from whatever applies to you.

4. Once you fill in all the options, the list of available IELTS Test centres in that location will appear. These institutions are where the IELTS test is held; beside each institution, you will find a shape indicating whether they offer IELTS on paper or IELTS on computer.

5. Selecting your preferred IELTS test date

Once you choose your preferred institution and test type – IELTS on computer or IELTS on paper, you will be asked to choose your preferred test date.

6. After selecting your preferred test date, you will be able to view the cost of each test.

Note: IELTS on paper test fees may differ from IELTS on computer.

7. IELTS account creation (New User) & login as an IELTS test taker

After selecting your preferred test date, click “continue”, and then you will be able to log in if you’re already a registered user or click “create new user” to create an account and be able to log in.

8. After clicking on “create new user”, you will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to fill in all your information and documents.

9. What to do after signing up?

After filling in all personal and necessary information as well as selecting and uploading a registered identification document, you will be able to pay for the test you booked through a payment link – which will be provided as a part of the process.

An offline payment option is also available through the ORS; which enables you to pay offline at the test centre after booking your IELTS test. However, please note that you must pay within two days, to confirm your seat. At this stage, you are a registered user, thus you will be able to log in to your IELTS account to book a test or check your results.
