How to make an IELTS booking?

You may either book an IELTS test online or visit your nearest IDP branch to book it offline. Here are the steps for you to follow to make your IELTS exam booking online:

1. Go to the IDP IELTS website. Select the "Book Now" option right on the home page.

2. The first one is the "Select Test Type." Just click on it.

3. Next up is the "Test Type." If you're aiming for academic or general training.

4. Lastly, "Select City" option and you can choose the city you want to take your IELTS test.

5. Once you are all set, hit the "Book Now" button to proceed further.

6. Fill in your details and upload your documents and your RO details (Recognised Organisations).

7. Review all your details and proceed to pay.

How to make payment for the IELTS test?

To pay your IELTS exam fee, you need a credit or debit card (like VISA or MasterCard) to pay online, or you can pay with cash at the nearest IDP office. Also, you must upload a clear, coloured scan of your passport (it should be smaller than 1.5MB) to finish the process.

IELTS test booking confirmation

You need to complete your payment within two days, or your booking will be put on hold. Once the payment is received, you will receive an email receipt confirming it. You'll also get another email 5 to 7 days before your IELTS test with all the details like your IELTS exam schedule, date, time, place, and candidate number.

For your Speaking Test, you'll get the details by email 2 days before it's scheduled. Your Speaking test might happen before or after the other sections (Listening, Reading, and Writing), depending on where you are. Make sure your email doesn't block messages from IDP IELTS and check your spam or junk folder if you can't find any emails.
